Counselors in Training(click for CIT)
The Counselor in Training program is one of the most powerful Christian leadership development programs offered to our youth today. This three part program not only prepares you to be a leader in the camping program, but also to be a Christian leader in your church, school and into your future. The first part is the CIT weekend retreat.
After successful completion of the CIT weekend, participants will be able to register for the second part, a week-long training held 6/9-15 for more in depth training in leadership skills and experience in working with an event as a CIT. The third part of the program, upon successful completion of the CIT week, involves actual participation as a CIT in an event assigned later by the CIT dean or site representative in this summer and in summers to come. This event is not for everyone. It is for mature young adults who want to prepare for future positions of leadership or as a future Camp Counselor. Application and references required.
The program’s total cost is $365.00. For more information call Camp Allegheny at 888-251-0771 or 814-754-4336.
