Camp Allegheny Christian Wrangler Program

– Summer Camp –

Each year, Camp Allegheny strives to make its great Christian Wrangler program even better.  For our campers’ safety and enjoyment, we continue to supply safe and healthy horses, quality equipment, exciting activities, new trails and obstacle courses, and ultimately more fun and greater skill development.  The CACW program is continuing toward excellence in building strong Christians with strong Biblical principles and strong western horsemanship skills.

Camp Allegheny is a member of the nationally recognized Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).  Our Head Wrangler achieved CHA instructor certification by passing thorough testing of horsemanship knowledge and experience.  All Wrangler campers have the opportunity to achieve national certification through the CHA levels.

Riding activities are planned according to the participating riders’ experience levels and skills.   All CACW events include time for camp activities such as swimming, climbing wall, archery, Bible study, and much more.

Our program has a built-in progression in order to provide the best atmosphere and opportunity for learning quality horsemanship.
