Donate & Financial Campaigns

Camp Allegheny is always trying to provide new opportunities for ministry, new experiences, and better quality facilities for both retreat groups and summer campers. These things are vital to the life of any ministry, but they all require money. We at Camp Allegheny have been blessed by many peoples’ financial support. Below is some information concerning our current financial needs and some exciting information about needs that have been met!

Heartwood Builder’s Club

God has blessed us with an amazing dining facility and gym. Retreat groups and summer camps alike have found the gym to be a great addition during inclement weather and the 300 person seating capacity of our new dining facility allows us to serve larger and more diverse groups. Unfortunately we still have a considerable debt for the building that is making it difficult to move forward financially.

Camper Financial Aid (Camperships)

Every year there are children who want to come to camp who’s families can’t afford to send them. Camp Allegheny has a fund from which we pull to get these kids here. Many times children will recieve help from their churches or from the Western Pennsylvnia Conference, but it is our goal and desire to ensure that no child misses an opportunity to come to camp for financial reasons. Because of donors like you we were able to help 46 Campers come to camp with over $4000 dollars! Praise the Lord!

Mattress Replacement Fund

Through donations of you and people like you we have gotten 7 inch inner spring mattresses on the lower bunks of nearly all of our lodges! Donate now to getting new mattresses in Cedar. It’s the last lodge to neeed them!

General Replacement and Reserve Fund

There’s a funny problem about camp, and even life in general, that we just can’t seem to avoid. No amount of prayer seems to stop it, and being careful just isn’t enough sometimes. The fact is… Stuff breaks. Maybe there was an accident and a snowball goes through a window, or maybe 232,653 times opening and closing a door is just one swing too many. Whatever it is, this fund is what we fall back on. It is for replacing stuff, and for any rainy day that may come.
