Joining our staff means you join our FAMILY!

Working at Camp Allegheny is an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Camp Allegheny staff seek to be a family. We value our connections with each other and to be a supportive caring environment where each member is empowered to do their best work.

Don’t just work a job, make a difference!

If you are looking for a simple summer job to coast through the summer months, then Camp Allegheny is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a fun, rewarding and exciting job where you can impact lives while you personally grow then Camp Allegheny is the place for you!

Over the summer Camp Allegheny serves over 1,000 children, youth, and adults. We passionately use God’s creation to teach campers about Him and help them grow as, or become disciples of Jesus Christ.

Camp Allegheny is a great place to grow in your faith and learn about what type of leader you are. From the time you step on camp property, you have a community that is there to support you and pick you up when you are down.
— Macy, 2 year staff member
If you want a job where you can grow as a person and become a better friend, sibling, and follower or Christ, then this is the place for you. I couldn’t have asked for a better summer experience than the many I’ve had at Camp Allegheny.
— Jesse, 3 year staff member
Being a camp counselor is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to serve the next generation. Camp gave me the opportunity to grow, teach, and love on the kids and the staff. If you are on the fence of doing it, you should just take a step and be bold and do it! You will learn not only practical skills, but make memories and friends for life!
— Sam, 2 year staff member
Being a counselor taught me about compassion, selflessness, and patience. Camp Allegheny has offered me a unique experience of joy and peace through each camper I’ve encountered. I am so thankful to have served God alongside my Camp Allegheny family.
