Camp Allegheny operates on a Biblical  theoretical framework that reflects the United Methodist tradition. This framework remains similar to the original charter formed with the founding of Camp Allegheny in 1949.  Even though this framework is used for the Christian, faith based portion of our programmings, the secondary, or contracted, side of operations for outside, private use continues to be inclusive and not subject to this same threshold.

Below are guiding principles and beliefs of the program activities that we lead especially during summer camp. They are not expected to be a part of the operations of any other group that attends.
