This weekend retreat will be filled with encouraging reminders that in every difficult experience we encounter, if we are looking for Divine surprises, we’ll find them, and when we embrace those challenges in the tight spots of life, we will discover an adventurous journey that produces unexpected joy, unanticipated favor, a strengthened faith, and a meaningful adventure. We'll laugh out loud and wipe a few tears as we discover how to lean into "the grace place." Carol's messages will lift your heart to a place of renewed hope and brand-new courage. What is Women’s Retreat?:

Women’s retreat is usually a weekend designed to let women refresh and renew their walk with the Lord. The weekend will be packed with most of our usual retreat activities, but we will take into consideration the necessary safety precautions. Our day will be filled with praise, worship, a wonderful speaker, great meals, and plenty of fun free-time activities. You will be able to chat with old friends and make some new ones.  We will still have the watermelon slurp, a craft, and a beautiful candlelight service. We invite you to come and enjoy fun and fellowship on the mountaintop while you open your hearts to a weekend of encouragement, faith building, and find peace in God’s love.

2025 Guest Speaker - Carol Kent

Carol Kent is a best-selling author and a popular international public speaker best known for being dynamic, humorous, encouraging, and biblical. She is a former radio show co-host and her messages have been featured on Focus on the Family. She has been a keynote speaker at Women of Faith, Time Out for Women, and Heritage Keepers arena events; she has also spoken at The Praise Gathering for Believers and at Vision New England’s Congress. She has also been a featured speaker at many of the Extraordinary Women and Women of Joy arena events.

She and her husband, Gene, have founded the nonprofit organization, Speak Up for Hope, which benefits inmates and their families. They have also co-authored, with Cindy & Dave Lambert, Staying Power: Building Your Marriage When Life Sends Its Worst (Revell)
